SPORTS MEDICINE

In addition to caring for you and your family, we’re also responsible for the medical care of several area sports teams, including:

   •     The University of Alabama in Huntsville Chargers

   •     Alabama A&M University Bulldogs

   •     Columbia High School

   •     Tennessee Valley Vipers

We are members of several Orthopedic Associations and can offer in-office treatment, in-house casting, splinting and x-rays.  We are also actively involved in Fellowship training.  We are not orthopedic surgeons, but we offer non-surgical treatment of muscle, bone and joint injuries and we are especially experienced in the orthopedic care of athletes.

Our physicians are also actively involved in training
future sports medicine physicians through the University of Alabama
Birmingham School of Family Medicine Residency Program.    
  
As members of several orthopedic and sports medicine associations, we specialize in non-surgical orthopedic treatment.  When the need arises for surgery, we work closely with local orthopedic surgeons.
